SFS was honored with the Cambridge Beacon School Award for four consecutive years from 2002 to 2005. This recognition was awarded in acknowledgment of its significant achievements and exemplary role in supporting CIE programs in Egypt. The criteria considered for presenting the award included local assistance in supporting CIE syllabi and assessments, inspection outcomes regarding school premises, teaching standards, extracurricular activities, professional development and training of school teachers, and examination results.<\/p>

In 2005, the school was recognized by the Edexcel International Board as an official London Examinations International Centre of Learning.<\/p>

In 2006, CIE gave the Cambridge International Fellowship Centre Status to the school. This prestigious status, awarded to only a few schools across the world, was granted in recognition of the following:<\/p>

    In March 2009, SFS received a special award from CIE and the British Council to mark the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the IGCSE\/GCE qualifications in Egypt. This award celebrated SFS as the first school to introduce the IGCSE curriculum in Egypt. It also recognized the school\u2019s contribution to establishing models of best practice in IGCSE\/GCE and creating opportunities for individuals to fulfil their potential.<\/p>

    SFS students received multiple \u2018Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards\u2019 as top achievers in Cairo, Egypt, and worldwide, as well as the \u2018Edexcel High Achievers Awards\u2019 for the highest scores in the world in the Arabic as a First Language qualification exam.<\/p>

    St. Fatima Language School, Nasr City, was awarded the status of Cambridge Independent International Centre in 2021. This means that SFS is a part of the global community of Cambridge Independent Schools, working to equip young learners for success in a changing world. The school met all the quality standards required by the Cambridge International Centre and is now one of the very few Cambridge Independent Schools in Egypt. SFS conducted, independently regulated, and administered the first series of exams in November 2021.
